NYSE Euronext Postpones Options-Floor Launch Another Week

The official shift of all Amex options operations into a newly redesigned trading room in the "blue room" and extended "blue room" of the NYSE will involve more than 300 options traders from Amex joining the 70 Amex traders that have already joined the equities trading operation of the NYSE. The push into options was largely at the crux of NYSE's early 2008 decision to buy Amex for $ 260 million in stock.
