Infosys sees opportunities in weak economy - SiliconValley.com

Infosys Technologies, the giant Indian outsourcer, will emerge stronger from the global recession as it continues to hire thousands of employees and looks for possible acquisitions in the United States, co-chairman Nandan Nilekani said in an interview.

"We are looking around," the company co-founder said of possible deals during a visit to Silicon Valley this week to promote his new book, "Imagining India: The Idea of a Renewed Nation." He was not specific, however, about the types of companies Infosys is interested in.
