Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other sites dominate social networking, and the enterprise has deployed many of them to increase messaging and communication among its workers. However large and user-friendly they may be, however, these social-networking sites also lack some tools that would make them truly efficient enterprise solutions. To create an effective enterprise social network, certain elements are needed in order to add true business utility.

Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social networks have hundreds of millions of users combined. These solutions have grown exponentially on the strength of their messaging and communication applications – who doesn’t want to at least occasionally share photos with a friend in Dubai or at least reconnect with old college roommates?
